Karen Lau, Investment Director, and Freddie Woodhead, Senior Investment Manager at JM Finn have both been shortlisted in the 2023 PAM NextGen Leaders awards.

The selection criteria for this award include the reputation or performance of the company that the nominee works for, feedback from senior executives, being able to demonstrate a trajectory of success in business development, relative years of experience, and personal contribution to a great organisational culture.

About our nominees

Karen Lau is an Investment Director who joined JM Finn in September 2012. Following the completion of the Legal Practice Course, Karen started her investment career in September 2006. She has experience in private fund management and discretionary management of private clients' pensions, offshore bonds, trusts, ISAs, charities and is on the firm’s Stock Selection Committee. 

Freddie Woodhead is a Senior Investment Manager who looks after direct private client portfolios and the Model Portfolio Service (MPS) for advisors. He also sits on the Stock Selection committee. He joined JM Finn from Edinburgh University in 2011 where he studied Mathematics.
