The award offers a bursary to the winner to nurture their early career, with funding going towards the cost of studio fees in the first year after graduating, to help them develop a professional artist.
Artist Hattie Quigley has been named the winner of the 2025 JM Finn Graduate Artist Award during a ceremony at the opening preview night at the Affordable Art Fair Battersea, presented by Fair Director Hugo Barclay and JM Finn Head of Marketing Oliver Tregoning. The £5,000 award supports an outstanding graduate artist to nurture their fledgling career through funding for studio fees.
Hattie Quigley is a visual artist whose practice consists of large scale, energetic and highly saturated oil paintings. Originating from Brighton and now residing in Edinburgh, Hattie received a first class BA(Hons) Painting Degree at Edinburgh College of Art in 2025 and was in this year’s RBA Rising Stars in Mayfair this summer. She is currently Artist in Residence at Loretto Boarding School.
Hattie’s work is available to view as part of the Graduate Exhibition at the Affordable Art Fair, running until 19th October.
JM Finn’s Head of Marketing Oliver Tregoning, said:”We are delighted to support Hattie Quigley as this year’s Graduate Artist Award winner. Hattie’s vibrant and energetic work truly stood out to the judges, and we believe her creative vision will inspire many. At JM Finn, we are passionate about nurturing emerging talent, and we look forward to seeing how Hattie’s career develops with the support of this award.”
