JM Finn host their Big Curry Lunch in aid of ABF The Soldiers' Charity

The Big Curry Lunch has been an annual fundraising fixture for the last decade, raising much needed funds for the British Army's national charity, ABF The Soldiers' Charity.

To help increase awareness of the charity, JM Finn held their own Big Curry Lunch on the 10th January for 100 staff who all paid for the privilege. The in-house catering staff rose to the challenge and served a delicious curry and with the firm absorbing the catering costs, we raised over £800 for the charity.

ABF The Soldiers’ Charity supports members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and Veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“The Soldiers’ Charity is here to provide support to individual soldiers, veterans and their immediate families when in need. Whilst a significant number of those needing our help are veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, we provide a lifetime of support; the eldest person we helped last year was a 107-year old widow with her care home fees and the youngest was a two-year-old disabled child. Please support the 2018 Lunch and help us to provide assistance to those who need it.” – General Sir Mike Jackson GCB CBE DSO DL President, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

The annual Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch, which has raised over £1.7m since 2008, will be held at the Guildhall on Wednesday 11th April 2018.
