
Biography
Tom is an Investment Manager at JM Finn within the Court of Protection and Personal Injury team. He specialises in managing tailored investment portfolios for individuals who are under the Court of Protection or who hold a Personal Injury Trust, typically following a serious illness or injury that has resulted in a compensation award. Tom sits on JM Finn's Asset Allocation committee, helping shape our global investment strategy and guide on our long-term portfolio positioning for clients.
Previously, Tom was an Associate Investment Director at Investec Wealth and Investment, where he focused on Court of Protection and Personal Injury portfolios. Following Investec’s merger with Rathbones in 2023, he continued in this specialist area before joining JM Finn. Tom began his career at Investec in 2018 as a Corporate and Investment Bank Analyst.
Tom is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has been recognised as one of PAM’s NextGen Leaders (2025) and featured in Citywire’s Next Gen series (2023).
Outside of work, Tom enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with his wife and their whippet, Ollie.
