Freddy works closely with Hugo Bedford and has responsibility for bespoke management of private client portfolios as well as for a number of charities and small companies. He also fulfils a number of important roles for the firm: he is chair of the Stock Selection Committee, is the sector specialist responsible for covering the Absolute Return sector and is a member of the team managing passive and core-satellite portfolios for Intermediary clients. Freddy has also been a driving force in developing the annual JM Finn investment conference, where he consistently receives plaudits for his presentation style and thoughtful investment insights. He has also been named in one of PAM's 2017 Top 40 Under 40 private client investment managers. Freddy joined JM Finn in 2005 from HSBC Investments. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment and holds a Masters in Politics from the University of Edinburgh. Freddy is married with three children and lives in Hampshire.
