Biography
Andrew Banks is an Honours graduate in Business Studies, he is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute and has nearly 30 years of investment management experience. Andrew started his career with Hambros Investment Management in 1986 and then moved to Singer & Friedlander Investment Management in 1995. Singers were acquired by Williams de Broë in 2008 from where Andrew joined JM Finn in 2012. As well as managing conventional private client portfolios, Andrew has been managing tax efficient investments, including IHT, EIS and VCT portfolios since the launch of the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in 1995. He has vast experience of the AIM and is the manager of JM Finn’s Inheritance Tax Portfolio Service. He sits on the panel that assesses and selects the winners of the PwC AIM Awards each October.
