Corporate and Social Responsibility

Charities

JM Finn & Co is committed to supporting a variety of charities, not only national, but community initiatives within their own local area. Through the provision of business skills and know-how, we support organisations which lack such resources. With the generous support and enthusiasm of our employees at JM Finn in volunteering and raising money, we strive to help charities to achieve their goals and improve the lives of the communities and people they serve.

A recent charity that JM Finn & Co have become involved in is “Dogs for the disabled”

Dogs for the disabled is a small charity that provides specially trained assistance dogs for adults and children with physical disabilities , as well as providing dogs to help and assist children with autism.
Part of JM Finn & Co’s involvement with dogs for the disabled, is sponsoring a dog through its training and socialisation, which takes 2 years to complete

After the 2 years the dogs are highly trained, for example helping children and adults with opening doors, getting dressed, emptying the washing machine and switching on and off lights, or for a family with a child with autism to no longer feel socially isolated.
We are supporting ‘Finn’ a curly coat cross golden retriever who was born on 06-03-11.

With fund raising events and activities held by JM Finn and the support by our staff throughout our offices in the UK, We are looking forward to seeing the development of Finn not only within his first 2 years of training but also with the life-changing partnership experience he will bring to either a child or an adult.

Environmental

We are continually developing an environmental agenda whereby we aim to mitigate our impact on the environment by reducing and recycling our waste and by purchasing products from more sustainable sources.
This demand is not just a simple change in policy but an ongoing requirement for all staff to alter their behavioural Patterns, so that we can make better use of our limited resources
